Birthday Lunch

M - Birthday lunch before we departed.

Liz started the day with present opening with her mum and sister followed by a lunch kindly arranged and hosted by Chris, one of our neighbours. It was on Easter Monday, the day before we left. It was super. There were twelve of us and all the neighbours contributed. The cake Chris made was amazing and topped with sparklers. We left about 5 hours later and Liz immediately fell asleep on the sofa. Too much excitement and champagne!
